Elizabeth + Max | A Summer Wedding at Texas Discovery Gardens

I have witnessed and photographed many weddings in my 2 years of this amazing career, and I can say that I’ve never seen such a love that was filled in the air throughout the whole day like Elizabeth + Max’s wedding. 

Their love story started at University of Dallas when Max spent a weekend touring the campus and seemed to have ran into Elizabeth a few times. Though the spark wasn’t there until a year after, it was indeed the moment Max knew Elizabeth was going to be a big impact in his life. 

Two and a half years together, Max knew he was going to ask Elizabeth to marry him. Days after Elizabeth’s graduation, they flew to Southern California to celebrate. Max’s surprised  graduation present was a sunrise balloon tour that overlooked the vast vineyards in Southern California Wine Country. Elizabeth was afraid of heights but she bravely boarded the hot air balloon with Max. At 5,000 feet above the earth, Max pulled out the ring and asked Elizabeth to be his forever – she said yes! 

The journey with Elizabeth +Max has been such a pleasant one. I had photographed their engagement (here) last year in November near downtown Dallas – where the weather was absolutely perfect, along with their chemistry for one another. Even today, I am still obsessed with their photos!

I did Elizabeth’s bridal session (here) at Texas Discovery Gardens a month prior to the wedding. I knew then that Max is going be so ecstatic about seeing how beautiful his bride will be. It is without a doubt that these two are meant to be. 

It is so bittersweet that the festivities have come to an end but I’m so happy to have witnessed such a selfless love like Elizabeth + Max.
