Wedding at The Grand Ivory | Hallie + Jack
The couple:
There is a magical feeling in the air when it comes to winter weddings, and it was no different for Hallie and Jack’s The Grand Ivory Wedding!
Jack and Hallie had known each other for a while, as he was best friends with one of her older sisters. Their interest in one another had just started a few years ago, but it was clear they were falling in love! Jack planned such a sweet proposal with the help of her friends and family. Hallie thought she was going over to her friend’s new townhome, but once she went up to the second floor, she saw Jack dressed up with a beautiful setup. He asked her to marry him, and her family watched from the third floor!
The Wedding Day:
The Grand Ivory was the perfect venue for their wedding since the chapel overlooks a pond while the reception space has all-white walls and an open layout. This DFW wedding venue is truly spectacular!
Hallie was the last daughter in her family to get married; you could tell this day meant a lot to her father. He loved being able to help fluff her dress throughout the day whenever he was near so that she would look perfect in all of her photos. It was the cutest thing ever!
The reception decor looked terrific, and they made all the signage! They truly put so much thought into their wedding details.
While Jack and Hallie went to greet tables during the reception, they changed into their traditional Vietnamese Ao Dais. Afterward, she changed into a sequin dress with a slit on the side, and she was ready to dance the night away with all her friends!
It was the greatest feeling being able to photograph their glamorous wedding! There was pure bliss throughout the day, and everyone was in a celebratory mood. We have now created a great friendship after their wedding!
