Dallas engagement photos | Min + Sam

I met up with Min and Sam in the spring for their Dallas engagement photos at Arlington Hall at Turtle Creek Park!

These two met, all thanks to their friends secretly setting them up one night! The day before they met, Sam was out with one of his friends and had run into some other friends. While they were chatting, it came up in conversation that Sam was single. His friend’s cousin mentioned she did have someone in mind and that they conveniently would be returning to this same restaurant the next night and that she would be there. He was shown some photos and thought she was cute. 

Min and her friends went to the same local restaurant the next day. Sam and his friend showed up, and the two were introduced. While Min didn’t think much of it at the moment, it wasn’t until later that she realized her friends had been setting this up the day before! Once they started talking, they instantly had a connection!

Their proposal story is the sweetest! They were going to be moving into a new apartment but couldn’t get the keys yet. It took some convincing for Sam to get the keys from the office earlier than expected. Because this was all a surprise, he had balloons and decorations delivered to his work so Min wouldn’t be suspicious. After hours of decorating, it was finally time to propose! While he convinced Min they were going to dinner near their new apartment, he surprised her by heading to their apartment instead! Sam thoughtfully crafted this part of their love story.

I knew Arlington Hall would be a beautiful location for their engagement session! The spring blooms were lovely and added a romantic feeling to the air. New York City has a special place in their hearts, and the photos of them by the stone bridge remind me of NYC!
