Frolicking in the snow with Madeline and Zack during their Chautauqua Park Engagement Photos was such a fun time!
Their love story started when they met one another at the University of Minnesota. When Zack was ready to propose, he planned it perfectly. He proposed in Central Park while visiting New York City in the fall. Central Park’s fall foliage is always beautiful, so it was the perfect setting!
During a visit to her family in Denver, Madeline and Zack wanted to capture some engagement photos with a scenic mountain backdrop. Who can blame them?! They had found me through their wedding planner, Alexa Kay Events, and it worked out perfectly! Alexa is a destination wedding planner, and her magical touches on all of her weddings are incredible. Although I don’t live in Colorado year-round, I was in town the same weekend they were there. Since they weren’t familiar with the area, I was able to suggest some locations for them. I always love being able to guide my clients, whether it be with locations or outfits!
They were troopers throughout their engagement photos because of the snow! While taking their pictures, it was evident how in love they are with one another! We started out at Chautauqua Park, and it was snowing heavily for a few minutes! After quickly realizing that the visibility made it difficult to see, we decided to continue their photos the next day.
Thankfully, the weather cleared up the next day, leaving us with fresh snow on the ground and mountain! Once we got up to Lost Gulch Overlook, the chilliness was quite something, but they braved through it, and the two of them were fun-loving and playful!
Enjoy scrolling through some of my favorites from their wintry Chautauqua Park engagement photos!
