The Couple:

Anne and Kevin’s Ashton Gardens Corinth Wedding was on a beautiful spring day. Their wedding was special for me to photograph, as I photographed Kevin’s two siblings’ weddings as well. Kevin and Anne wanted a photographer they were already slightly familiar with, and it was blissful to walk through each couple’s wedding events. Check out the photo at the end of the blog post, where I am pictured with all three couples!

The Wedding Day:

Before their ceremony, they wanted to share a private first look and get a few photos. The first look between them was one of my favorite moments of the day. Planning your dream wedding takes time, and it almost seems surreal once it arrives. Once Kevin and Anne saw each other in their wedding attire, it was at that moment that it felt real that they were going to become husband and wife that day! It was delightful. 

They were married in the chapel on Ashton Gardens’ property in Corinth, Texas. This chapel has floor-to-ceiling windows giving you a view of their forest and allowing all the natural light in. At the altar, they had two large floral arrangements that made for a lovely addition to the natural beauty of the chapel.

As Kevin and Anne walked down the grand staircase into the ballroom for their introduction as newlyweds, all of their guests cheered with excitement. The ballroom was elegantly decorated with crystal chandeliers, fabulous florals, and the cutest in-house chairs. They had large marquee letters that spelled out their last name, making for a fun backdrop for a few photos toward the end of the evening.

Anne and Kevin shared a private last dance while their guests went outside to line up for their sparkler exit. As they ran out of the venue enthusiastically and through the tunnel of sparklers, a vintage getaway car greeted them at the end.
