The Olana Engagement Session was the perfect way for Tien and Meg to get me excited for their wedding day!
These two lovebirds met at work and created a great friendship. Meg had asked him if he wanted to grab some food, with no intentions of it being a date. The next time, he asked Meg to dinner, and she could tell this time it was a date!
Meg was planning a big surprise 30th birthday party for Tien. She felt he knew what she was up to on the day of the party. They enjoyed themselves with all their friends and family at the party. She brought out his birthday cake for him to blow out his candles, and as she approached him with the cake, he got down on one knee. She was shocked that all she could do was cry and shake her head yes.
Since The Olana is also their wedding venue, it was the perfect location for their engagement session! We were able to utilize some places on the property that we knew we wouldn’t be able to on the actual day of their wedding.
I loved how stylish these two looked during their session. Assisting my couples in planning their outfits to ensure that they coordinate is something I enjoy. Their first outfit consisted of a cream two-piece for Meg and a teal green suit for Tien. For their second outfit, Meg wore a lime green cross halter dress, and Tien wore light grey pants with his teal suit jacket.
Our evening together was a pleasure getting to know them better and admiring their love! By looking at each other, you can tell how much they love one another. It melted my heart!
