Elegant Brunch Wedding in Highland Park | Clare + Trenton

Trenton + Clare’s beautiful brunch wedding in Highland Park is one I will not forget soon! Their ceremony held at Park Cities Baptist Church was one of the most beautiful ceremony setting I’ve witnessed. The church’s grounds made a very stunning backdrop, and although we weren’t able to utilize the whole location, we sure did at Clare’s bridal session! 

From sunrise, the day was perfect. It was an overcast day which was perfect for a wedding! My favorite part of the day was knowing that Clare + Trenton’s details were passed on from their grandparents and parents. Trenton’s watch was from his Papaw and Clare wore her mother’s shoes and her grandmother’s earrings. I love it when my bride and groom has meaningful pass down details – it gives it a very meaningful touch to the wedding and also makes great for photos! 

Clare + Trenton opted for a ceremony reveal instead of a first look. Whether you have a ceremony reveal or first look, it’s important to me that I capture the moment the groom sees his bride in her specially picked out wedding dress. I try not to tear up when this happens but I definitely shed a tear when Trenton saw Clare walking down the aisle to him.  

During our portrait session, Clare + Trenton were all smiles. I couldn’t help but just be in awe with them. They were finally married and ready to start the next chapter of their lives together! Although I love couples who aren’t afraid to show their affection for one another, the way that Trenton + Clare’s affection for one another was different and one of a kind. It was gentle smiles, gentle touches and gentle kisses. Too sweet!! <3

After the ceremony, the guest drove 5 minutes to the reception which was held at Park City Club, a 17th floor private room for events and weddings. It was so gorgeous because you can see the Dallas skyline from afar and the whole view of Highland Park. The reception was a very joyous celebration of close family and friends who traveled near and far. I’m so pleased to share with you Clare + Trenton’s beautiful and elegant wedding!
