Chelsea + Ryan | White Rock Golden Hour Engagement

Summer in Texas can be dreadful, but sometimes we can be blessed with good weather! That’s exactly what we had during Chelsea + Ryan’s engagement session at White Rock Lake (one of my favorite location for engagement sessions!). It was quite windy but honestly I’d rather it be windy and subtle weather than humid and hot. 

Chelsea and I follow each other on Instagram(@chualeephotography) and I was able to get to know her a little before really getting to know them both after she had inquired for a session. Chelsea + Ryan are both from California and had moved to Dallas together. They both love going on hikes and that’s when Ryan took the chance and proposed to Chelsea at Cedar Ridge Preserve. 

The best part about being a photographer who specializes in couples, is that I get to see how a couple are as one. Such as the affections towards one another, their soft embraces, sweet kisses, goofy traits, and genuine laughter. I find so much joy in that and Chelsea + Ryan are an example of why I do what I do. Capturing blissful & genuine moments.

I was so excited when Chelsea asked if they can bring their dog Rusty, OF COURSE! All fur babies are welcome and highly recommended (
