Hotel Crescent Court | sheila + hoang

The Couple:

Friends and family gathered for Sheila and Hoang’s wedding on a warm fall day. We took gorgeous Hotel Crescent Court wedding photos and finished the night celebrating with The Pearl Restaurant Ballroom Reception!

Their love story starts on their first day of sixth grade. Hoang’s locker was above Sheila’s, and they shared a class together. Fast forward to a few years ago when he devised a plan to propose to her. Sheila was under the impression they were celebrating her cousin’s graduation. It was when he stopped the car in a neighborhood that she got suspicious. He led them to a gazebo decorated with petals and candles. After he got down on one knee, the family cheered!

the wedding day:

The day before their reception, they had a traditional Vietnamese tea ceremony instead of a western ceremony. They love sweets, so they had a great selection of mochi donuts, Asian-flavored muffins, and macaroons. 

For their tea ceremony, they wore traditional Ao Dai. At the reception, Sheila wore a Martina Liana dress paired with a Jimmy Choo shoe. Hoang wore a classy black suit, and the two looked fantastic!

Everyone got ready that morning at Hotel Crescent Court. It was the perfect space for everyone, and the room had amazing light. Once ready, we took advantage of the building’s beautiful exterior for wedding photos around the hotel, and they looked amazing. 

All of the florals and decor were breathtaking! Dream Weddings and Events did an amazing job and turned the reception space into a fairytale! The cake table was incredible. A 7-tier cake was at the center of attention, with a vast floral statement gathered around the table. 

A fog machine turned on when Sheila and Hoang shared their first dance. It looked like they were dancing on a cloud, which was so romantic! Hoang teared up during the mother and son dance, and it was a beautiful moment. He and his groomsmen surprised all the guests with a fun hip-hop performance, and everyone loved it!

It was great seeing all the support they have from their family and wedding party. You could easily tell how happy everyone was for them to get married and have the wedding of their dreams!
