Tracy + Henry’s Engagement Session | White Rock Lake in Dallas, TX

One of my most favorite location to shoot engagement sessions in the Dallas area is definitely White Rock Lake! I love being able to find new spots there every time or even going to old ones.

The lake view is always peaceful as well, even when there’s 15MPH of wind going on! That was the case for Tracy + Henry’s engagement session. I absolutely love the wind because it can create soft movements in the pictures but man, the wind wasn’t particularly on our side that day lol. We still had such an amazing session though!

How did you two meet?

Tracy:

My friend set us up and we were texting for a couple of weeks before we decided to meet each other. We decided to meet at a new coffee shop and when I got there early, it was too crowded so I told him to meet at Starbucks. We had poke for dinner, then we stayed probably 2 hours at the gelato store because we couldn’t stop talking.

What do you love about each other?

Tracy: He makes me feel like my best, most confident self. When I’m stressed or tired, he always is there by my side to encourage me and make me feel better. He makes me a kinder and calmer person. He’s my best friend who I love spending time with.

Henry: Her smile and caring nature. Her passion and drive to accomplish her goals. The high standards that she sets for herself. How much she cares about me and how she motivates me to be better.

Do you have a funny, romantic, or touching story about your relationship? 

Tracy: My most favorite week was when we went to New York and instead of seeing the usual tourist attractions, we would just walk around and eat at every single place that looked good to us. We basically planned our entire trip around food (LOL)

Henry: For one of my birthday, we went out on a dinner date. When we came back home, she gave me a present to open. The present was a handwritten book about all the things she loves about me. It was the most thoughtful gift I’ve ever received.
